  2. To the Annan Juvenile Pipes & Drums,

Thank You for giving us the opportunity to play with you guys last night. We all had a great time, and you sound great. We'll have to try and do it again, perhaps in scotland some time. We have a number of photographs to share. Keep up the good work and keep in touch!

  3. I listened to you this afternoon in Newport RI. at O'Briens Pub. You were excellent and looked regal!!!! The pipes and drums were outstanding. I was the woman with the West Highland Terrier who also loved the music from her homeland. My only regret was that your appearance was not publicized so more people could have been there. I told you about the Hibernian Fife and Drums in Newport and went home to call the head of it so someone from that organization could welcome you. I hope that someone came before you left O'Briens.

  4. I had the pleasure of hearing the band twice today. My husband and I are teachers at Dover High School. We took our atudent to hear the band today and they were amazed. This is really cool because I teach English as a Second Language and the students I took to the concert are are from Columbia, South America and The Dominican Republic. They were fascinated with you and your music.
My husband and I truly enjoyed the performance. Being of Scottish blood ourselves, we love the pipes and drums and love Scotland (AKA Heaven) and would like very much to live there. We have been married for a little over four years and have been to Scotland three times. We are hikers and love to hike the wilds of your country. Thank you for reminding us why we love Scotland so much. Yes, we love the place, but we also love the people; You guys are the best. I hope you have a great time in the U. S. Get some rest if you can and keep making beautiful, inspiring music..

  6. On Wednesday 19th August Chris brought some of your youngsters down to our football club {Gillford Park FC} at very short notice i must add, to help us celebrate our historic first game in the Northern League and they did a wonderful job in dreadful conditions their uniforms were immaculate and the music was some of the best performed pipe music i have ever heard. Everyone i spoke to afterwards was very impressed so i would like to thank you all for making a historic night all that more memorable and i do hope you collected a decent amount towards your trip. Good luck for the future and if we ever have another special occasion i will not hesitate to recommend your band to our committee thank you once again,

    Mike Alexander,
Stadium and Public Relations Manager for Gillford Park FC.

  17. Well Done Daniel,
This is very impressive web page, and when The Annan Branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland comes online I will have to get you to give me a hand.
Over the years I have been following the Bands progress with interest and I know you are not getting the result you would like. After a competition take a step back, note the remarks from the different adjudicators and work on their comments. For instance if more than one adjudicator remarks on the tone - change it, if an adjudicator is not happy with the tuning of your Pipes - do something about it. Read the instruction leaflet on these tuners, the human ear is best to tune the drones, and get a nice sharp chanter to set the black box so the drone will be nice and sharp as well.
Well Daniel, keep up the good work.
    Cheers.

Just for the record I spell my name with two LL's!!!!
